It was hard to find a picture that accurately depicts me the way I imagine myself, as over the past month my life has changed in a momentous way with the arrival of my first baby, my little girl Frances Estie.
Re-wind to a month ago, I was a heavily pregnant yogi with my own studio, and that was all I did and thought about. My waters actually broke at the studio after teaching two classes at 41+1 weeks pregnant.
Today I am a mummy, in lockdown due to Covid-19. No pictures of me and my baby celebrating with family and friends, or out having breakfast, or at the studio meeting my yogis. Here is a picture of me, Frances and Lucas enjoying lots of special time to connect, as we (along with the rest of the world) try our best to adjust to an increasingly online, distant-yet-connected world with our little baby and a business each to run.
So what better time to start a blog, which I’ve been meaning to do for a while... if nothing else it will create a little diary to look back on and remember these strange and uncertain times, made wonderful with the arrival of the most perfect little baby to keep us entertained.
