Pregnancy yoga isn’t just about stretching your body, learning active birth positions and taking control of your breath. It’s also celebrating your pregnancy, building your connection with your baby and taking a bit of time for yourself to focus on how you feel physically and mentally. This picture was me at 41 weeks pregnant, practicing yoga for the last time with me and my baby still as one. Looking back now I can’t believe how beautiful my bump was and that my gorgeous little Frances was in there getting ready to meet me just a day or two later. At the time I felt huge, uncomfortable and fed up- yoga was my tool for staying calm and feeling strong. I want all mummies to feel that same peace that yoga gives you, that connection with your baby and that confidence in your body. You don’t need to be afraid or worried, having a baby is beautiful, no matter your birth story it is yours and you will cherish it forever
