POSITIVE BIRTH STORY - Faye & Edward

So I was totally new to yoga when I first decided to give it a go with Tessa. Initially for pregnancy yoga just as a little bit of exercise as I couldn’t do the 20 miles running a week which I had managed to do in my first pregnancy until 35 weeks!

Tessa soon put the yoga novice me at ease and I started really enjoying and looking forward to the classes.

As time went on, I felt myself becoming more flexible as my stomach grew haha. Then going into my labour, where my waters were broke and I was due to be induced, I found myself surprisingly calm. I knew the breathing techniques I was practicing from the yoga lessons was helping immensely. As the labour unfolded, I was obviously in a large amount of pain but was far more controlled than my first birth! I could almost manage my contractions!

Since the birth, I love the fact my baby is so chilled which I think is partly down to the relaxation of yoga. I have since done some of the mummy and baby yoga classes and have done some of the positions at home with him and he loves it!

I can not recommend tessa highly enough- professional, personal and great at what she does!

Namaste!
