Anyone who comes to my sessions will know that I love using yoga blocks and straps during my classes.
No matter your level, experience or style, props allow us to focus and pinpoint certain areas of our bodies.
We don’t always have to push ourselves to our fullest capacity. Sometimes yoga is about breathing to the edge of a sensation, other times it’s about holding back and directing our energy and breath to the places we need it the most.
Props are tools to tune in and refocus, helping us notice exactly what we need and where.
